
Towards the end of the final year, a random discussion in the chemistry lab centered around an idea to round off our schooldays with a collective project or challenge.
Quite how we decided to walk to Brighton from the school, and to do it that evening, we are none too sure. But at around 6pm, with varying degreees of parental approval and notably, no training or preparation, we set out from Edge Hill and headed for the coast.
