The regular eight (Lee, Barnett, Bird, McDonagh, Weston, Simmonds, Stockbridge, Taylor) met on Friday 24 July 2026 at the “Hand in Hand”. This was the rearranged date after the June meeting was cancelled due to the heatwave. Everyone seemed to be surviving the heatwaves and we all enjoyed some fine beer and wine, followed by an eclectic selection of healthy and distinctly unhealthy food choices.

In between the banter and consumption, it was agreed that we should go ahead with the planned reunion lunch on Friday 11 August 2026. Gavin will book the Hand in Hand . We also wanted to have a follow up lunch on the Saturday as last year, and this was agreed in principle subject to find a better venue than the Raynes Park Tavern used last year.

Another session is planned for later in August to finalize the planning.
